Sing your RE/MAX Associates independent contractor agreement. This will enable us to order your cards. We can have them within 2 weeks. We will also assist you in ordering signs and announcements.

Make an appointment with a professional photographer and have an updated photo made if you haven’t changed your photo in the past two years.

Organize your mailing list including past clients, prospects, friends, relatives, banks, attorneys, title companies, etc…

Have your announcement postcard or letter ready to send out the week you make the transfer.

Before you leave your old broker, make an appointment with the owners of your listings and explain to them what you are doing.

Draft a formal letter of resignation and we will type it for you if needed. Be polite and appreciative of all your former company has done for you. Be brief and to the point. Have everything that belongs to the company ready to give back, i.e. pens, open house signs, etc. Ask for your license so you can hand carry it to us. Since you have a dated, written resignation, they are bound to return it promptly. We will assist you with the official transfer with the Kentucky Real Estate Commission.

If there are listings you will be releasing and moving to us, you will need the sellers to sign a new Exclusive Right To Sell and Agency form. We will assist you with the other paperwork involved in transferring a listing.

Make an appointment with RE/MAX Associates staff to o over new office procedures.

During the first 30 days, do you best to call everyone on your mailing list. You will inevitable get several leads. |
